The Dakota Action Rocket was established in 1971 by several newspaper publishers to provide extended circuation for advertisers in their local markets in southcentral South Dakota. Today the Rocket is a common supplement to 17 weekly newspapers serving a 16-county area of southcentral South Dakota. Reaching more than 50,000 readers every week, The Rocket is the latest common supplement in the state. It is a particularly popular and effective publication in the agriculture community and for auctions of all types. It includes both display and word ads.
